우리때문에

이 찬양이 생각나는 밤이다.
주일 예배후 광야 40년의 세월을 산 이스라엘 백성들을 다시 묵상해 보았다.

참 무지한 모습들이다.
그렇게 많은 기적을 목격하고도 신뢰하지 못한다는 것이 이해가 않되기도한다

왜 그렇까?
각자의 깊은 내면의 필요를 체우지 못해서 일까?
기적의 순간이 단지 위기를 넘기게 하는 것으로만 받아들였졌다는 것인가?

결국 이들은 그 많은 기적으로도 구원얻지 못하고 만다.
오직 두사람만 가난안으로 들어가고 모두 광야에서 죽고만다...

나는 아직도 죽어야할 자아들이 많은가 보다
여전히 포기하지 못하는 많은 것들이 있나보다

바울의 고백처럼...

하늘나라로 간 성도를 기억하며...

교회마당에서  그와 나눈 마지막 대화를 기억한다.
그의 눈동자와 따스한 손길이 느껴진다.
그와의 수많은 기억들이 밀려온다.

그가 주님의 품안에 편이 쉬고 있음에 감사한다.
이 땅의 수고를 다마치고,
영원한 나라에서

주님 !
이 땅의 삶이 남은 자매와 두 아이들을 축복하옵소서 !

 내가 산 자들의 땅에서 여호와의 선하심을 보게 될 줄을 확실히 믿었도다
 너는 여화와를 기다릴지어다 강하고 담대하며 여호와를 기다릴지어다(시편 27:13-14)
